]]>German films from the Desmet Collection (Eye Filmmuseum) have contributed significantly to the revision of German film history. The program’s main film is Des Meeres und der Liebe Wellen (1912) – a little-known drama set on the Dutch coast, in which the “German Asta Nielsen” Lissi Nebuschka performs with passion and conviction.
The films are free and available without a Metropolis+ subscription or single ticket.
