Rembrandt The biopic, superbly photographed by cameraman Richard Angst, shows the painter as a genius unrecognized by his environment, who sinks lonely into a depression. Hans Steinhoff directed the film in his series of portraits of great, controversial leaders popular in Nazi cinema.
