The Organizers

CineGraph – Hamburgisches Centrum für Filmforschung e.V. emerged in 1989 from the encyclopedia of the same name and passes on the results of its academic, cultural and historical research through conferences, retrospectives, seminars, exhibitons and publications to a filminterested public. Through its publications and public events CineGraph has established itself as an internationally respected expert on film history and culture.

Since 1990 Bundesarchiv-Filmarchiv, Berlin, is officially coorganizing the Film History Conferences. The longstanding and successful cooperation between the archive and CineGraph has encouraged the partners to establish a new festival for the preservation of the German Film Heritage.

Bundesarchiv-Filmarchiv and CineGraph are members of the Kinematheksverbund.
